Empowering Tomorrow: Faith as a Tool for Good
Global Shapers Bern had the pleasure of hosting “Empowering Tomorrow: Faith as a Tool for Good”, and we are truly grateful for the depth, openness, and sincerity of the conversations that unfolded.
Together, we explored how faith and spirituality can inspire positive change in our communities, not as abstract concepts, but as lived experiences that shape the ways we connect, support one another, and take action. Our discussion touched on themes of hope and praying, the ambivalent nature of religions, and the idea of spirituality as a co-produced experience that emerges through dialogue and shared reflection.
A key takeaway of the evening was the importance of openness and curiosity when approaching different worldviews. We reflected on how faith, in its many forms, can serve not as a dividing line but as an enabler. A force that brings people together, builds trust, and creates space for meaningful encounters across beliefs.
